How can I audition?
Any high school or college student can audition for the GMU team by sharing a video of themselves performing and/or speaking, along with a forensics resume, with Dawn Lowry ([email protected]). You should be able to share videos via Google Drive or YouTube, preferably. Videos should be between 5-10 minutes long. Students will be notified as soon as possible whether or not they made the team. If you have any questions don't hesitate to email Dawn or our Recruitment Coordinators. ([email protected]). |
How much of a commitment is it?
Competing in forensics is a big time commitment. The GMU team is a nationally competitive program with a rich tradition of forensics excellence, however our program encourages our students to have a diverse college experience that puts academics first. Besides tournaments, are there any other commitments? Yes. You are expected to meet with the coaches of your respective events weekly as well as attend a weekly team meeting. |
